Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
PINELLAS COUNTY – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office DUI Unit members and several patrol deputies were recognized at the 2023 Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Awards Recognition Event. The event was held on August 4, 2023, in Fort Myers.
MADD hosted the recognition ceremony and dinner to show their gratitude and appreciation of the brave men and women, and their families, for keeping the roads and community safe.
Deputy L. Blake was awarded the Millennium Achiever Award for apprehending over 1,000 DUI offenders in his career.
Malcome Deane was awarded the Breath Alcohol Tech/Breath Test Operator of the Year.
The following deputies received the Century Achiever Award, awarded to any member who apprehends 100+ DUI offenders in a calendar year.

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
