What: Detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division have arrested three individuals for Trafficking in Methamphetamine after a meth lab is discovered in Palm Harbor.
When: The suspects were arrested on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Where: The meth lab was discovered in and around a tractor trailer located near 4720 Roberts Road in Palm Harbor.
Why/How: At approximately 4:32 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015, deputies responded to the area of Alternate 19 and Klosterman Road in reference to a possible overdose victim. During their investigation, deputies identified what was believed to be a possible meth lab in and around an abandoned tractor trailer near 4720 Roberts Road in Palm Harbor.
Narcotics detectives arrived to the scene and through various investigative techniques, detectives determined a meth lab was operating at this location.
Detectives conducted interviews with 32-year-old Virginia Schneider, 49-year-old Angus Seeley and 55-year-old Charles Day. All three subjects admitted to taking part in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Schneider, Seeley and Day were subsequently arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Listed I Chemicals.
They were transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
Detectives have taken possession of multiple chemicals and equipment utilized in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The investigation continues.
