What: Deputies are set to participate in the Coral Heights Community Outreach Day Event. Multiple Sheriff’s Office Units will be present to provide support to St. Catherine’s Church as they reach out to residents to determine what services might be needed in the community.
The Sheriff’s office will provide demonstrations and various displays to support that effort.
When: The event is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, January 24, 2015.
Where: The event will take place at Coral Way and 138th Avenue in Largo.
Why/How: The Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Coral Heights Community for a “block party” to be held this Saturday, January 24th.
The Coral Heights Community is invited to come out and enjoy the event which includes complimentary food, booths and fun; as well as an opportunity to get to know the Sheriff’s Office. The effort is geared toward building resources for Coral Heights.
Several Sheriff's Office Units will be present for demonstrations and to provide information to attendees. Displays include the DUI crash car, other specialty vehicles and a Canine Unit demo.
